A Spooktacular Halloween

Our 1st Halloween pumpkin! I designed it, Eric carved it (Riley helped pull out all the guts). It was a true team effort.
Happy Halloween to everyone and I hope that y'all had a great night last night. This year was the first year that Riley went trick-or-treating. He wanted to be a dinosaur so we found the cutest triceratops costume on the internet. He can't pronouce triceratops correctly so he calls it his sa-sa-ceratops costume. He was absolutely adorable.
Riley at his firt trick-or-treat house. He did a fabulous job. Because of the rain last night we only visited the houses on our cul-de-sac, but he had a good time despite the crummy weather.
Eric got dressed up too. Here are Eric the Viking and Riley the sa-sa-ceratops!
Eric carving the pumpkin with "surgical precision" (notice the blue nitrile gloves he was wearing.... hehe).

Riley helped to pull out the guts out of the pumpkin. He was such a good helper.

How fun! Riley is a cute sa-sa-ceratops! Did you also dress for the occasion? The pumpkin looks wonderful. Our youth at church did pumpkin carvings. It is really hard work. I am glad Riley had a Happy Halloween. He is having such wonderful experiences.
