From My Phone

Here are just a few pictures that I have taken on my phone from the past few days. We have had such a wonderful weekend together, I seriously don't want to go back to work on Monday!! On Saturday, Riley and I went out on our regular weekend errands and we stopped at Scottsdale Farms near Milton to pick up our very first pumpkin from their pumpkin patch. We are going to try to carve our pumpkin sometime this week before halloween (so look for some pumpkin carving pictures soon). While Riley and I were out running around, Eric was at home helping clean the house (I couldn't ask for a better Hubby!!) and putting Riley's big boy bed together (picture shown below). Later on that night, Eric made his "world famous" turkey chili (well, at least it is famous in our little world) and me and Riley baked peanut butter cookies in the shape of ghosts and pumpkins and decorated them. Oh, and I can't forget to mention that we got to watch some awesome Georgia Tech football and saw the #19 Jackets beat the Hokies (thats right #4 Virginia Tech).
Today, we all went up to Mercier Orchards in Blue Ridge, GA for some home grown apples, apple cider and fried apple pies!!!!! It was CRAZY busy there but well worth the effort (and the drive) to get the best apples ever! After we braved the crowds, it was time for lunch so we stopped by Longhorn in Ellijay on the way back home. The pictures of Eric and Riley were taken during our lunch there today.
I hope everyone had as good a weekend as we did here. Have a lovely week and I'll post again soon.

Lots of Love to ALL!

Wow! It sounds as if your family has a lot of fun times. Riley will have so many experiences to draw from once he starts school. I know he'll have fun carving the pumpkins. I have pictures of my own children on their first pumpkin carving--what memories.
Love, Aunt Kathy
