Hey everyone. We have had a VERY eventful last week or so at our house. On Friday the 22nd, I went to work at Walgreen's for the very last time, and later on that night Riley decided that he finally wanted to use the potty! Since Friday night, we have moved up to real big boy underwear during the day, but are still in diapers during the nighttime hours. Both Eric and I are so proud of our big boy!! The first picture is "mad" Riley. He did not want me to take his picture, but I thought that the "Cars" underwear are sooooo cute (thanks, gramma).
Yeah!! He can go to the potty all by himself!!
This chart is part of our reward system. Everytime he goes to the potty he gets to put a sticker on his chart (1 sticker for #1 and 2 stickers for #2). He also gets 1 jelly bean for #1 and 2 jelly beans for #2. At the rate he is going, he should have this down in no time.

Reward stickers...what a great idea. I am sure he likes putting them on the chart. They appear so big and bright. Your mother used to give you and Meredith Andies Candies for success. I am sure he will progress just fine with the appetizing motivation you are providing.

He looks so cute in his unners! It seems he got over his mad pretty quickly, though. I pray for continued success in this effort, but what am I gonna do with a bunch of diapers I have had for the past year? It doesn't matter...maybe Eric will let me keep Riley sometime in the future. We sure do miss the tater-tot.
