Riley's Trip to Rome

On Saturday, Riley and I headed to Rome to visit my Grandparents. We met at Chick-Fil-A and ate lunch. This was a day of a lot of "firsts" for Riley. At lunch he had his first chocolate milk shake and was the first time he actually ate all 4 of his chicken nuggets. Then we headed to the mall, (or the "small" as some people in my family have always called it). I hadn't been to the mall in Rome in several, several years and it has changed a lot since the last time I was there. Half of the mall is still unoccupied, that has not changed, but it was as though it has turned into an amusement park for little kids. Riley took his first ride on the carousel. At first he was a little scared and wanted me to ride with him instead of Granny, but the 2nd time he and Granny took a spin. What a fun time! We also got to take a ride on a train that drives through the mall. That was totally worth it! It was soooooo much fun. He also had a lot of fun playing in the "foam children's play area" (don't really know what the formal name for it is). After the mall we went back to their house to play some more for a few more hours. On our way out of town, we stopped by the Jameson Inn to see my mom at work (she works on weekends every now and then in addition to her teaching job at Pepperell High School). Riley was very excited to see her and when it was time for us to head home, he wanted to get in her car and go home with her instead of me. Well, that is how we spent our valentines day. Eric and I are about to make dinner, so it's adios for now. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

At first glance I didn't see your recipe for grilled steak, etc. You know I collect recipes so just go ahead and forward them to me if you have the time.

I hope your interview went well today and things work out as the Lord intended. Keep those pics coming!
