Hello all. I am now officially on my summer break, so you know what that means.... more posts! I'm soooo excited (for a lot of reasons).
1. Riley is finally home for a week-long stay at my parents. It about killed me and Eric to have him gone that long, but when it was time for us to leave Gramma and Grandaddy, he cried in the car while we were driving away. He is soooo attached to them.
2. I only have one more quarter and it will be official. I will be a nurse! I'll keep everyone posted about when my pinning ceremony will be. Sometime in mid-September.
3. Graduation means new job, new job means.... I get to leave my current job!! (it also means more money)
4. It's official, Riley CAN talk. He can also speak in short sentences. His favorites are:
"Daddy, too."
"I got it."
"I'm stuck."
"It hurt."
Here is a picture of Riley and Kate when she came over to babysit him. Riley LOVES Kate!Oh, and me and Kate are trying to decide on where to go for our "yeah, we graduated and passed the NCLEX" victory trip. So do any of you out there in cyber world have any suggestions? We were thinking of something beachy.
This is a picture of all the girls in my nursing class on one of the last days of this last quarter. It is one of the very Best groups of women I have ever met. We only have 10 more weeks together, and I'm really going to miss their company. Hopefully they will all go on to their BSN and maybe we can all go to school together!

My personal favorite girl's trip spot is New York City. You can't beat it, and if you're going to go to the trouble to go somewhere, it's worth it! But if you're wanting something closer, Cline and I chose Myrtle Beach for his victory trip. I'll let you know how that goes. (By the way, my nursing school friend, Tiffany, and I went to six flags the day we took the NCLEX. We needed to feel like kids again after such a stressful day. Just a thought :)
And I love Riley back =] -kate
