Just as Eric is an amazing golfer, Riley is showing promise as well. Saturday was our designated family day this week. We all traveled to Marietta for some errands. Eric dropped me and Riley off at the Avenues at East Cobb while he went dowm the street for his hair appointment. Riley and I went shopping/day dreaming in several stores. Eventually I found myself emersed in Williams Sonoma... the best store EVER for a want-to-be gourmet chef (that was the day dreaming portion of the morning). But right as I was in the middle of looking at $1000+ knife sets and the $300 Le Creuset Dutch Ovens, my phone rings. Eric was finished and was ready to pick us up. We went to Chili's for lunch and noticed that they had a new menu. We both ordered the new Santa Fe Chicken Wrap. I highly recommend it... it was delicious. After lunch and a few more errands we finally made it to the driving range.

At the range, Eric was spectacular as usual, I was actually making contact with the ball, and Riley was just...well...3. He does show a lot of potential to be a good golfer and he defintely has the interest. Eric couldn't be happier.

Golfing at three--what a great start. People ought to introduce their children to opportunities early in life so the children will know what does and does not interest them. Riley has good "form" already. It won't be long. I am best at chipping and putting. Driving the ball is still something I need to work on. I am distance-challenged. Anyway, it is thrilling that he is beginning to read. He looks as if he is enjoying it as well. Keep up the great work. Love, Aunt Kathy
